Tennis Director, Lucian Biesiadecki
Lucian played professionally on the satellite tour from 1987-1988. In 1998, Lucian moved to St. Louis to pursue a Master’s Degree in Education Technology from University of Missouri St. Louis. While at UMSL He took the position of head coach at Ursuline Academy from 1998-2001 where he lead the team to its first time state tournament berth and top ten finish. He also became a part time professional instructor at Sunset Tennis Center to work with the regional and national ranked junior players in the Missouri Valley. He also coached the Missouri Valley Zonal 14’s team in 2000.
Lucian has coached district and sectional teams and moved to Triple A Tennis Center to become a national coach and run the National Clay Court camps for three summers. He became the director of the junior tennis program at Wilson’s tennis center during the winter season of those three years.
During these years and the years that followed, at one time or another Lucian has been a travel coach, teaching professional and tournament director for the Wilsons junior program. Once completing is Masters Degree he moved to the classroom at Vianney and became head coach of the boy’s team for five years where the team advanced to the state tournament.
Back in the classroom he became the director of tennis for the City of Kirkwood from 2001-2011. In 2010 he returned to Sunset tennis center to become a teaching coach once again to the present. He returned to Ursuline in 2010 to become the head coach and teaches business classes at Mehlville High School.
